History: Justin was born in Fairmont Hospital. His parents moved over to Elm Street when he was two. His dad had gotten a management position in a big networking firm and hence they made enough money to buy a nice house there. His parents always pushed him to better himself ever since he could remember. His relationship with his parents are like that of none other. Most kids have a hard time talking to their parents, while Justin can talk to them with ease. Justin is an "only" child. He liked it that way cause it was easier to handle things with his parents. When Justin was growing up, and not very many people know this, he was physically abused by his uncle while his parents were out of town for business. They were gone for almost weeks at a time. It wasn't until he was 12 that he told his dad what was happenning. His dad went to his wife's brother's house and beat the living crap out of him. There we charges thrown against the guy and he ended up in jail for it. Justin's mother was a wreck for a few months and wouldn't talk to his dad for quite some time. It was hard to get it through her head that her brother was a child beater. Things now are great with the family. Nothing else had gone wrong for a very long time until now. Justin had been dating a girl since he was 16. She was the daughter of his parent's best friends. They had known each other since they were 3. Just recently they broke up because she felt to trapped in a relationship. They promised not to date anyone else, knowing they'd get back together again.
Dream Skill: Lately in Justin's dreams, he has been chased by a horrid scarred man with knives for fingers. In coping with these nightmares he has been able to blend in with his surroundings, kinda like "Predator" the movie, where the alien was able to hide in the jungle by his chamelleon-like abilities. Justin has mastered it so far and is able to stay hidden from the man. It's the only was he feels safe as of now.
Johnny RiggsName: Hobie Johnson
Age: 18
Physical Description: Hobie's 5'9'', 160 pounds, with gray eyes and kind of
long black hair that he has tried to dye blue and green before. He used to
really be into martial arts and took taekwondo for seven years, but quit last
year.
Personality and Attitude: He's pretty quiet and doesn't say a lot in school,
but with his few close friends he can get kind of wild and crazy. He's
adjusted well to the fact that his parents divorced, although he pretends like
it didn't affect him at all, even though it really did. Although most people
would describe him as a happy person overall, he's had to start taking
medication for his depression, something he keeps secret from the other kids
at school. He feels that loyalty and courage are the most important
attributes to have, and he tries to show both.
Hobbies: He's the guy who writes in his notebook all day and (haha) dreams.
He wants to make movies, or write, or do something like that, and he's
constantly coming up with weird and random ideas. He likes all things of the
1980's, especially--he wishes he could be a punk sometimes. Taekwondo used to
be his favorite thing when he took it, but even now he still practices every
day.
Dream Skill: In his dreams, Hobie's able to use his martial arts to an amazing
degree, although the terribly burned, evil guy that chases him in his mind
hasn't gotten close enough for him to try...if he dares...
History:
Hobie's lived in Fairmont on Elm Street ever since fifth
grade. He used to live in Chicago but then his parents split up and he and
his mom went back to her old town of Fairmont. He's made friends and is
generally well-liked, but he still seems and feels a little detached from
everyone else. He's kind of the quiet, friendly guy you see in the back of
science class but don't ever really talk to. No matter how long he's been
here, it still looks like he wants to be somewhere else. He used to want to
be an action movie star when he was younger--that's his secret dream but he'd
never tell anyone. Well, that and being an 80s new wave punk rocker.
Sherry (The Corey Feldman Girl)
Name: Tina Matthews
Age:17
Physical Description: Blue eyes, Dirty blonde hair, 5'6"
Personality and Attitude: Kind of has an attitude problem to protect herself
from becoming to involved with people, and a little bit self centered.
Hobbies: Tina is very into dancing and gymnastics, and she used to
be a very involved swimmer but had accident where she hit her head and almost
drowned. So now she is afraid of water. .
Dream Skill:When she is aware that she's in a dream she can imagine that she's
somewhere else and change her location, can make other people dream what
she's dreaming and pull them in with her.
History of the Character: Was born in Pennsylvania on Feb. 14, both her
parents were killed in a car crash and she lives with her older brother Rob
who is very overprotective of her.She's only been in Fairmont for about 3 months and still doesn't know many
people. Her father used to abuse her and she still gets flashbacks of that,
and feels bad that she never told anyone about it. And she used to have a
friend named Sidney that was murdered on a night when Tina was supposed to be
with her, so she feels like it was her fault. But now she is just trying to
start over.
James HabeebName: Rick Richardson
Age: 17 yrs.old
Physical description: Tall, with deep brown eyes, muscular, looks like a
jock, but sort of ugly with a scar on
his upper forehead. Personality and attitude: Cool, hangs out with other cool guys, a jock,
but sometimes hangs around with "normals". He thinks that he can beat
anyone up. Hobbies: Rick plays for the Fairmont High football team. He loves to
watch television and listen to music when he's not practicing for games. Dream Skill: The ability to morph into anyone or anything. History: Rick has lived in Fairmont all his life. He loves watching horror movies,
but gets too scared because he had a dream where he died from a killer
(not Freddy) . Since then, Rick can't stand scary stuff and even
can't sleep sometimes thinking of that dream, but he doesn't let on to other people to know this. Rick has had a bad past, when he was 11 yrs old, he dreamt
about a devil trying to kill his sister,and the next morning, he found
out that his she had died through the night.
Jadine Paris
Name: Adria McLachlan
Age: 18
Physical Description: Adria is 5 foot 5 inches and weighs 113 pounds. She has
curly dark brown hair, which she wears just below shoulder length and green
eyes. Adria is of slim build and also has a three inch scar which crosses her
collar bone.
Personality and Attitude: Due to her childhood Adria has a very independent
nature. One of the ways that her independent nature asserts itself is in the
way that Adria hates to have her freedom restricted. She is the kind of person
who likes to do her own thing and when faced with strict rules and regulations
she tends to rebel. She is also a bit weary of allowing anyone to get too close
to her because in her experiences deep feelings nearly always lead to deep
pain. She wards people off with a mixture of sarcasim and irony.
Hobbies: Adria is a creative person and she expresses this in her singing and
acting. In her spare time she sometimes fronts a three piece, but she mostly
just sings solo in a local bar/restuarant. Adria uses singing and acting as an
escape form reality. She also tends to spend time alone where she just
daydreams. Sometimes when she is doing this she actually falls into REM sleep.
Dream Skill: When Adria was three she got lost and somehow worked her way into a
network of underground tunnels. After this Adria suffered terrible nightmares
about the dark coming to get her. The child psychologist who was her case
worker told Adria that the shadows wouldn't be able to hurt her if she learned
to control them. So now Adria has developed the ability to manipulate shadows
in her dreamworld.
History: Adria was born in Baltimore to a workaholic policeman father and
alcoholic mother. Adria is an only child and had a very lonely childhood. When
she was growing up, her mother was more often than not stoned out of her head and
her father spent all of his time working on cases, and as a result didn't have
a lot of time for his only daughter. After her father died six months ago,
Adria's mother made an concerted effort to come off the bottle and take an
interest in her daughters life. She decided that it would be for the best is
she and Adria made a new start away from the police force and Baltimore.
Adria's mother's 'new beginning' plan began by moving to her home town Fairmont
and having an attempt at playing 'Happy Families'. Having only been in
Fairmont for six months Adria is still feeling like a fish out of water. She
has a good circle of friends but none with whom she is really close to.
